How It Works

How to Order

We have made the ordering process as simple and straightforward as possible. It only takes four steps:

1. Enter your full postcode

Enter your full postcode on the homepage, Scoffable will instantly search your area and display all takeaway vendors that deliver to your address. You don't need to be registered to use Scoffable, although you will be given the option to register upon placing your first order. If you decided to register previously, you can log in using the link displayed at the top of every page. We will automatically populate details such as your name / address to speed things up. You can also view your previous orders.

2. Choose a Takeaway vendor

After entering your full postcode, you can browse all the different types of takeaway vendors that deliver to your house. This list is specific to you, and by default the list will be sorted by distance and open status (I.e. you will see the closest, open takeaway at the top). Simply click on a takeaway of your choice and you will be taken to the full interactive menu to begin building your order.

3. Browse Menu

While browsing the menu you can add items to your basket by clicking the plus icon (displayed next to each item). Some items have additional options available (you will be prompted to select these if applicable upon adding an item to your basket). If you change your mind about an item, you can remove it by clicking the cross icon in the basket on the right hand side. The instant search bar at the top of the categories section is the easiest way to find a specific item on the menu that you are looking for, it will search as you type. You can also click on a category to jump to directly to the relevant section of the menu. Once your basket contains the items you wish to purchase, click checkout to finalise the order (don't worry, you can still go back if you have forgotten something).

4. Submit your order

To complete your order, fill in your details and select a method of payment (Cash or Credit/Debit Card). If you choose to pay by Credit/Debit Card you will be prompted to enter the card details securely on the next page. There's nothing more infuriating than being charged to use your Credit/Debit Card, we won't charge you a penny.

After confirming your order, the confirmation screen will provide you with an order reference and summary of your order. We will also E-Mail this information to you at the same time for convenience.

What we do

After submitting your order, it will be sent directly to printer hardware installed in the takeaway. We have systems in place that enable us to guarantee that the vendor receives your order. Our customer support team are always on hand to resolve any issues, you don't need to do a thing.
