Will not order from here again. Food was disgusting

Usually have a nice meal but this one was lacking taste and just didn't taste freshly made. Order, once again, was wrong

Ordered from Dragon House - no prawn crackers - its usually standard with every order. (In the past we have ordered and paid for prawn crackers and restaurant told us not to as they are included in every order!) No information to say this had changed. My child was very disappointed there were no prawn crackers - that is his favourite part! Container of food on its side within the bag - food spilled over everything else!! Chicken satay was 80% watery sauce - very unmanageable to eat or to even serve onto a plate! Have been using this restaurant regularly for the past 18 months - sometimes several times per month. First issue we have had and we are very disappointed in service and quality of food. Extremely reluctant to buy from them again! Reported issues above to Scoffable and offered 10% off next meal. As I say reluctant to order again but I hope this bad experience was a one off and not the new norm - other reviews would suggest the latter...

Food wasnt at usual standard

Waited over 1hr 40mins for delivery , food was stone cold

Summary of last three carry out orders made to Dragon House.. Order 1. Never arrived initially. . They "missed it" somehow. Had to phone and it arrived about two hours after we ordered. When it did arrive one dish missing so had to phone again to rectify. When it all arrived - FOOD FANTASTIC!. Order 2 small problem. Forgot to include rice we ordered. Had to phone back and then wait on rice while food got cold. When reheated in micro - FOOD FANTASTIC. Order 3 (last night). Order fairly wrong. Salt and pepper chicken balls and chips ordered for my daughter. Instead,we got sweet and sour chicken and chips (which my daughter rejected). Mushrooms in garlic sauce ordered. What was delivered was something else entirely. I don't know what. Mixed vegetables maybe?We did get a totally free chicken fried rice we didn't order - presumably meant for someone else who is now wondering where it is. Again - FOOD FANTASTIC. Do you get the idea? Food fantastic! Service diabolical! Is it so hard to get someone to check the orders as they are going out the door? The Sapphire we used to use always did this. Ah, the Sapphire..............now where is their phone number?Honestly now finished with Dragon House due to atrocious service.

Delivery was quick and efficient however.....This is our "go to" for Chinese takeaway as the food, staff and delivery are generally excellent but our recent meal fell way short of the usual standard - chicken was dry, stringy and chewy on starter and main course. Sauce on main course was thick, congealed and burnt. In short, meal was barely edible!

The food was cold curry sauce was very thin and watery, very disappointed not to the usual high standards.

The time I waited was ridiculous, nearly 2 hours.

Starter was fantastic. Main course which had several times before usually really good this time was dry powdery and no sauce rather unpleasant to eat. Rather disappointed as waitex over an hour and 1/2 for delivery

The order took nearly 90 minutes and then the egg fried rice was missing. Not a great experience which is a shame as its normally very good :-(

Really disappointed as its usually very good. We had to wait for our delivery for 1 hour and 20 mins, and had to heat everything up when it arrived. The rice had lumpy bits and the chicken was chewy and stogy.

Chips where burnt

I have been ordering Chinese from the Dragon House for some years now but our delivery was 40 minutes late, normally if there is going to be a delay l usually get a text message but no message was sent. When the order arrived the delivery girl did apologies and said there had been a mix up with the orders.The food was lukewarm and the chicken chow mein was bland and l ordered chicken in plum sauce but received duck in plum sauce.

Worst chinese food i have ever had, didnt even bother to complain incase they offered to send replacement.Never again!!!!

We ordered food tonight, delivery was very quick but the food was not great. We ordered shredded chicken in chilli and garlic, the sauce was very watery and had too much lemon and the chicken was chewy not crispy. It was not very pleasant. I would not order again.

Will not be ordering again! Order was to have no sauce and no bean sprouts. Delivery came and in opening the order had sauce and bean sprouts. What is the point of special instructions for allergies etc if no one is reading or bothered about them as happens all the time now?

Banana fritter was black so black it was off putting. My duck curry was so salty it was wasted.All in all only thing OK was chips. £18.99 wasted

Ordered a chicken chow mein, when it arrived there was what looked like Jelly forming through out the meal, tasted very unpleasant.. Also ordered a small Munchy Box, apart from the ribs the rest of the meal was overcooked, incredibly crispy and just not edible. Not a great first time experience :(

Not a good experience chicken wasn't cooked at all and put us off chinese food for the forseeable.Would be very careful what you take from this takeaway, they did want to replace the meal but once you see somethingv like that you stop eating and the lot goes in the bin.£6 credit on an £18 order not good enough.Scoffable were on it quick enough but failed to grasp the serious nature of the issue. We could have been hospitalised had we eaten this.

The spicy chicken wings have changed they have a thick horrible batter, instead of a light dusting. The boiled rice wasnt salted and the chicken curry was tasteless. We wont order from here again sadly.

Fast delivery but all the food was mostly bitter and tasteless..

Read the previous reviews and assumed it just moaners. Wish Id listened. Was told an hour for delivery .. 1hr 30m later I had to call. Was then told it would be 15m. Finally arrived about 20m later. Driver was nice, genuinely apologetic. Food was okish- chilli chips cold, soggy and just tasted like normal chips. Chilli sauce was like a tub of vinegar and inedible. Chow Mein was nice though. Shame.
