Disappointing tonight Fish did not seem as fresh as usual and batter was course Chips not up to usual standard Macaroni bites overcooked

Can see the quality diminishing over time

Here's a tip. Don't order the pakora.

Generally we order The fish and chips which are excellent,the Mac and cheese that we ordered was tasteless very poor quality .

A while after estimated time - 1st time in 2 years youve been after the estimated time Could have been fresher and a bit warmer - perhaps too many deliveries all at once with us the end of the line Not up to your usual standard, sorry

Food was cold

I didn't like the grub out of Hook tonight. It was far off the usual quality I expect. Batter should not be chewy. My daughter didn't like her sausage supper and my fish supper was really poor as well. I think it's time to give Hook a break as the quality was poor then brilliant now it's back to being poor. That's the last 2 times I have not been happy.

Fish had clearly been transported on its side and therefore arrived badly broken.Chips were also coldProbably wont use scoffable in future

After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes the special supper was not warm, phoned to complain but this was not received well. I presumed what happened was that another order was being delivered and the driver was waiting with mine already in bag.Not good enough especially as I live four minutes drive from the shop.Next time I shall collect.

The fish was a great size but was overcooked. Tough as boots. Ate most of it due to no food all day and gave the dog the rest.

Food was spot on, as expected, but took 1hr50mins for the food to arrive from ordering time - 40mins beyond the already pretty lengthy estimated delivery time.

Delivered to the wrong house on the estate by the time the neighbour found us the suppers were stone cold and mushy inedible when re heatedPut straight in the bin so disappointed

Usually great but tonight it was poor. Especially the fish.

The food was excellent as always but unfortunately was 2hrs late. Phoned twice and finally they sent our order. We did get a couple of Free drinks which was appreciated.

Waited 90 minutes for order. When it arrived it wasn't as expected. We paid £1.40 for extra chips. Didnt appear to have extra chips. Disappointed this time. Food was warm rather than hot !

Disappointed as overpriced, over cooked and poor chips., should also advise length of delivery time before order is placed

It wasnt until I completed my order and paid that I was informed it would be 60-90 minutes for delivery. That should be information up front

The last 4 or 5 times I have ordered from Hook it has been excellent but tonight was poor. The batter was too thick and it was chewy. I didn't finish it. Wasn't impressed to be honest.

Our delivery was sent to the wrong address. Hence our food was late and cold. The delivery was brought to the correct address by the neighbour two streets away!
