Food was delicious but took 2 hours 17 minutes for delivery. Disappointing.

Firstly the food was brilliant, no complaints about the food at all! Unfortunately the delivery time and service was awful. My order was confirmed at 5.31pm and was quoted a time of 1hr 40minute, of course this is an approximate time however it got to 7.40pm and I phoned asking about my order as Id given it quite a bit over the estimate. I was met with abruptness and I was on the line whilst it was discussed with the driver which sounded unbelievably unorganised. I was then told it would be with me soon as the person on the phone would deliver it themselves as they were really busy, whilst I totally respect this they shouldnt be accepting orders whilst theyre already too busy. When I questioned the time and asked if it could be delivered asap I was met with well would you like me to cancel it instead which is a ridiculous thing to ask when youve already waited that long. The alternative is that our order was forgotten or ignored, however Im hoping it was just the former and they were just busy. Our food eventually arrived at around 8.10pm, 2 hours and 40 minutes after the order was confirmed.. unfortunately we were celebrating our first day/night in our new home and had had a drink or Id have gone to collect it. Again once it arrived food was amazing just wish it hadnt taken as long to arrive.

Waited almost 3 hours for the Chinese Phoned two times for an update.

Cold and stodgy

Although fully aware we had ordered a 'salt and chilli munchie box'. The ammount of salt ruined the entire meal, it was however, well cook and presented but the salt levels were off the scale and beyond edible, think if I order again I'll ask for a salt and chilli with no salt. Thats was a heart attack in a box tbh!!!

We always buy our Chinese take away from mrs chans and love it but tonights meal had a funny taste and a couple of hours after finishing it we feel unwell. Disappointed

The order was sold as Chicken Balls. Then it asked What sauce youd like and if youd like rice or chips. When I got the order it had a small bag with 4 small chicken balls with a large separate tub that had a lot of chips and the gravy on the chips

The curry was ok . But when I ordered curry I specifically NO onions in beef curry but I got them.

Food was alright but 2 hours 20 mins wait for a place thats ten mins awat from home plus ive noticed see if yiu pay by crd up front they just dont care once they have youre money Jades Palace in whitburn a much better place

We placed order at 17:40pm and about 18:50pm phoned to see if it was ready for us to pick up as our kids were getting hungry they told us it was getting delivered next round so food was supposed to arrive at 19:20pm which my wife phoned at 20:00pm and was told it was just getting cooked so we were at this point angry as we got told at 18:50 it was next to get delivered but actually it wasnt even cooked so my wife had to pick it up. We werent happy at all bad customer service

Ive not recieved my order yet 3 hours wait and still not arrived absolutely shocking

Placed order and received estimated delivery time of 1 hour 20 mins, eventually arrived after more than 2 hours.Lemon chicken was so overpowering with lemon that it had a disgusting after taste and was inedible.Excuse given was that there are not enough staff and a lot of new starts. Not the customers problemVery disappointing considering prices and wait time.No discount offered either!

I always enjoy the meals at Chans, however last 2x awful, I feel the quality is slipping from how they used to be. The satay was absolutely loaded with salt and landed in the bin. A waste of money .

fried rice has no taste at all & neither did the curry sauce. forgot my spring rolls, used to be my favourite chinese but not anymore, unfortunately.
