We thought we'd found a good local takeway. After being a pretty good customer, I ordered burger/chips earlier today. The 'burger' was very different to past orders and I don't believe it was a beef burger but rather one of those dreadful soya impossible burger things, it had an odd texture and was dry and weird. Worst of all I am allergic to soya protein and it left me with an aching stomach all day and I feel so sick! If this was not that then it was a really bad burger none of which I've ever had. Obviously we'll not be buying from here again!

Im so sorry this happened to you. Please be assured that all our meat products come straight from our local butcher. That has never changed. You have ordered many times from us and we are so saddened to hear that the standard wasnt as it usually is. Im unsure why this has happened but I will investigate. Food seemed ok, until the next day, and didnt eat anything else the day of order, wouldnt risk it again

Hi there. Sorry to hear you were ill. We take these allegations very seriously. I had a wee look back to see when you placed the order. I cooked that specific order myself. Our food is cooked to order to a very high standard. All fillings are prepared daily, using fresh ingredients. I fail to see how anything you have eaten could have caused you to be ill. There is absolutely nothing I could've done differently. Mrs k

Food arrived within ETA, and still warm. Just due to personal preference. Coronation chicken tasted more like chicken curry due to curry powder used. Coleslaw wasnt very creamy, a bit bitter tasting but wasnt bad. Just down to personal preference.

When my order came today my baked potato was shocking really horrible wet potato was huge.not crispy like a normal baked potato.bacon was like leather.sausage very hard.i will not be back dreadful place

Very sorry for your experience. If you had have called we would have addressed your issues and replaced your food. Your potatoe would be wet due to the mayo and butter on it also we try to use large pototoes to give value for money . Very surprised as we cook everything to order with all our meat goods sourced from local butchers.

I had order a bake potato with a filling and chips and cheese, it was cold and the potatoe wasnt even a baked potato or even cooked was still hard in the middle , the chips n cheese was the same , was a bit gutted as it was a birthday treat

Firstly we sincerely apologies that part of your order did not meet your standards. However there was no contact prior to this review to let is resolve the issues you had. If this had happened we would have certainly sent out new items. Also unsure what you about the baked potatoe not being a baked potatoe. Again apologies but if you would have contacted us we would have sent a new order to yourselves. P.S I presume the breakfast was ok then.
