We waited nearly 2 hours for out delivery and when it got here it was cold , and there was very little in the order compared to what you would normally get, and you could tell it was just thrown together as the shop was shutting . Not impressed at all.

I always buy my lamb biryani from Flames, its always been bursting with flavours etc, however tonight I was very disappointed. The rice was staudgy, tasted as it had been overcooked and the sauce was very oily. Not my best meal from here. Definitely not value for money.

I stopped ordering from flames for this reason.Always takes ages to come.Placed order 1720 app says 1 hr 20 min at 1 hr 40 i contact flames and he says its just leaving the store. 2 hr 5 min finally arrives and the order is wrong call them and took a further 40 min to send correct order.Its an absolute joke on a Monday night at 1720 it takes to 1950 to receive correct order.Never again will I order from flames. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Think you ordered shashlik kebab with garlic mayo on and salad separately this is what exactly we sent out . It would have been very helpful if you had contacted shop and told us exactly what is wrong with it but thanks again we will keep an eye on it next time

Hi there I am deeply sorry about your wait we were busy last night . But how far you stay doesnt matter because it first come and first serve so its just the way deliveries were coming we were sending them out side street were still really bad with black ice . But we were making sure food is still hot when it gets to customer . If you did find food cold you should have contacted us we would have sort this out for you wihtout any issues . Arrived 30 mins late, ordered a king kebab and large chips, £6 for chips and it certainly wasnt a large portion or Id hate to see the small portion.The lamb was reminiscent of shoe leather, chicken as dry as a desert, donor meat the opposite, greasy as a mechanics overall.Not an enjoyable experience and one that I certainly wont use again

And we did send you the large chips that was large portion and mix nan kebab we still use same chicken and same lamb the one you had before when it comes to donner it will be little greasy always as dry donner is never good to eat . Large Black hair embedded in the batter of the chicken Pakora. Tried calling them 18 times however line was busy. Took my complaint to Scoffable for a refund they eventually got a hold of them for them to say I was making a false claim regardless of the photo evidence I provided! Called the restaurant to clarify they were basically calling me a liar to be told they weren't saying I was lying however profusely denied it could have been them as the front desk girl is blonde and cook is bald! To clarify my husband is bald and both my daughter and I are blonde and regardless of hair colour/being bald the origin of the hair in the food could only have been present at the time of the Pakora being cooked as I repeat it was embedded into the food so much so I could hold the piece of pakora up by the hair and it didnt budge! I asked them to send the driver down to collect the contaminated food at 20:42 (that I am supposedly making a false claim about) they said he was on another delivery and would send him therefore I was giving them benefit of the doubt before leaving a negative review however it is now 22:30 and no one has turned up! Therefore no choice but to put my honest review on here. Not even as much as an apology, left with no food and £22 down (I might put the hair on Ebay people will buy the weirdest things these days!)

First of all we didn't say you are lieing i only said on the phone that we strictly follow hygiene rules by wearing appropriate hats and approns. And second your food was delivered around 6:30pm and you are calling back 9pm to say there was hair in your food it doesn't make any sense that 4 hours later you are claiming this on the phone to me . I mean we had an extremely busy night and we have got a record of that nothing like this happened in past or will happen in future we are very careful when its comes to cooking of food we know we have got elementary food hygiene certificate here . And we sold soo.much of the same pakora same butter last night no had a single complaint from any of my customer all my customers know the standard and quality of my food and thy alsow know how clean our shop is . I didn't want to say anything but I just want my other customers to know what happend and to know both side of story you had deliveries in past from us we never ever witnessed any single review from yourselves in all the good times . We appreciate every feedback whether its positive or negative in this review I had to say few things to make it clear for my other customers . I you coming onthe phone after 4 hours doeant make any sense. You say not even an apology I did apologise to you on the phone but I did say non of us has long hair or working WIHTOUT hats or aprons.

Initially placed the order for the wrong address but called straightaway to rectify it, order was delivered over 70 minutes after the specified order time after several phone calls to chase it up, when delivered the donner meat was dry, will be trying somewhere else for my takeaways in future

Always buy a lamb biryani from Flames because it was the best, however on this occasion Im sad to say it was very bland not much flavour and only a few piecies of lamb. Dissapointed on this purchase, defo didnt think it was value for money! Peshwari nan was the best part of this meal.

Hate giving bad feedback but a lot of this got binned. The garlic naan was cold and the salad on the kebab was so wet that the whole bottom of the pitta was soggy and horrible. The mushroom pakora was lovely but the rest was a bit of a let down.
