Once again let down by delivery time, 1h 35mins.....Simply not good enough....

Got the wrong order and when I called to fix it all I was told is they dont make mistakes. Order at your own risk

Chips were raw and chicken with rice was chewy and cold. Not happy, want a refund. Only positive was delivery was fast so no reason for chicken to be cold therefore must have been when it left

Asked for no vegetables in sweet and sour-came with vegetables

Chewy pink beef. Prawn toast was burnt so bad no one could bite through it

Ordered chicken curry .it was full of oinon and hardly any chicken .it also arrived cold .disappointed !

Delivered my meals with missing orders they eventually arrived an hour later

Food was great but three quarters of curry sauce spilled in poly bag.

I ordered a Chow mein with paid extra for mushrooms, which came with rice not noodles, so didnt need the extra rice I also ordered. The food was far too dry and you have to pay extra on top the noddles/rice and protein which again is not what a traditional chow mein is. Also says tango on the menu and Fanta arrived. After eagerly awaiting for my food it ended in the bin and I had beans on toast.

I ordered a delivery at 18.20 and the eta was 1hr30,fair enough its a Saturday night. When it hadnt arrived by 20.30 we tried to contact the restaurant. No answer at all constantly ringing out or engaged. Must have 20 or 30 times. The delivery eventually at approximately 21.10. Terrible service

The rice was really bland it was like it had been re heated two or three times it ended up in the bin instead of me enjoying it the next day

I have used the golden bowl for a goos few years now. However, over the past few weeks there appears to be a change in the quality of the food. The steak i ordered was very tough and not of previous high standards and it just seems the ingredients in general are not as of good quality as before. The staff are friendly and the premises seem clean enough but there must have ben a change in the kitxhen somewhere that doesn't quite hit the mark the same.. Having said that, I will probably use the Golden Bowl again to give another chance.

I have used Golden Bowl for years, tonight's experience was very disappointing, there wasn't a lot of meat, only small shreds of beef, not a lot of pepper but loads of sauce and onions

chips were burnt and tasted didgusting and yhe whole dish was ljke warm

Disappointed in our takeaway tonight. The meal came within 20mins of being ordered which was really quick but parts of it just werent enjoyable. Especially the shredded salt and pepper chicken..it was so tough and chewy that most of it went in the bin, almost felt like it was reheated. The mushrooms in gravy also came in a much thicker sauce that normal and wasnt enjoyable either. There were other elements that were fine but I cant mark better due to the above.

Soup was not with the main when delivered, they had to come back and deliver separately. Rice was not amazing and the chicken in black bean was all stuck together, as in wasnt chopped and separated properly. Soup was terrific and the only reason I didnt give the worst rating.

Go here every weekend and the food is usually fab however unsure if they have changed the chef or if its because I ordered abit later than usual but the honey chilli chicken was like rubber, had a funny texture and couldnt eat it. Ended up binning it. We used to have delivery within the half an hour too but now we are around 1.5 hours for delivery within Whitburn. Not really impressed ☹

Ordering was quite straight forward and had the option for extras, I chose to get extra mushrooms to the chicken chow mein which was only 50p and havent had it with mushrooms before and I still havent. Got the order under the estimated 1 hour 20 mins but sadly ignored the extra. Theres no purpose offering an extra if youre not capable of reading the order out correctly. Id have been happier waiting longer to get the order as requested and paid for than to receive it incorrectly and early. Would I order again using the app ? Possibly not and if I were then probably not through this take away

Took over two hours to deliver, wouldn't answer the phone, had to chase via Scoffable. Delivery driver couldn't have cared less.
