Food was good but 1hr 45 mins waiting for delivery? Scoffable should update their app to indicate how long the likely wait will be!

My order took 2 hours and 35 minutes to arrive! Phoned them after first hour and was apologised too and informed they are just waiting on driver coming back, after another 50 minutes go by I phone again and I'm apologised to again and told its now out on its way and won't be long. 30 minutes later the driver turns up and asks for the £18:50 in full, no apology, no discount, no care. As I had over a £20 note they then say sorry I have no change and walk off!I'm utterly apauled at the entire experience and will never ever be using there business again!John

Waited over 2 hours for cold food

Ive been using this Chinese for years. Tonight experience has made me never want to come back to golden wok. Delivery was 2hrs 35mins when it was estimated 1hr40mins. Which granted delays happen. Called to be uniformed that the driver left arounf 1hr ago. So was no surprise when my food arrived that it was cold. Shame really as never went else where befkre and always recommended. Not again!

Most stuff in muchie box burnt and tasteless meals

The food took an hour and a half to arrive on a wednesday night. I ordered Nasi goreng which was basically egg fried rice with 4 prawns and a tiny bit if shredded chicken. My partner has crispy shredded chilli chicken which he said was really good.

Never received part of my order told by delivery driver they would bring it back to me never when I phoned before they closed attitude was not helpful they didnt seem bothered and was told a second time they would bring it to me and still never came terrible and wont be getting another order from here again.

The wait for food was over an hr later than stated

Fantastic Delivery Driver. Especially at a time like this I wouldnt write a bad review for delivery timing. But when your order is placed at 10pm with the booking stating 50 minutes for delivery and arrives at 11:45pm having phoned at 11pm to check saying its 3 minutes away, to then phone at 11:35pm to say its 3 minutes away they quintessentially lied. Unfortunately the person the food was for had gone to bed before the food arrived, hence the reason for the acidic review. I stopped using Golden Wok due to bad service. First time Ive been back in over a year. Its not improved. I should have known better. I will not be using them again. I should have just returned the food.

1/1/2 hours only to get it cold, I asked for dry ribs with lemon got 4 small ribs in sauce, chips were kind of wet from sitting in packet, and the salt and pepper chicken bites were cold, soggy,

Quoted time for delivery 1hour 40 minutes actual time for delivery 1hour 55 minutes. No warning that there was any unusual delay in filling the order.

Over 2 hours delivery time and the food was awful all tadted like it was cooked days ago 👎

Order was about 30mins over delivery time stated. When it did arrive it was missing the fried rice and the sauce was all over the place. The chips were also pretty hard ss if they had been sittimg for a while.

Ordered food. Never got it. Very disappointed. I know places can be busy but paying for a service and not getting anything feels like being robbed.

i was very disappointed. i had doible ordered by mistake yet they were not prepared to refund. surely they must have noticed the exact same order goin to the same address. will nog be using scpffable or the chinede again.

Portion size was a let down, especially for the price, chips were dry like they'd been sat in the box for days. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Plenty other Chinese takeaway in Bathgate area which far exceeds this establishment.

LEMON CHICKEN WAS POOR QUALTIY, AND THE CONTAINER WITH THE SAUCE FOR THE BANANA PANCAKES WAS ONLY ABOUT 10% FULL AND TASTED LIKE GRAVY SAUCE, NO WAY WAS IT CHOCOLATE. ALSO HAS ONE OF THE DEAREST DELIVERY COSTS.

2.5 hours from order to delivery. Dreadful.

Meal arrived early ( Great ),Egg Fried rice ,burnt,stodgy,but basically tasteless,chicken noodle soup very bland.Disappointed was an understatement .
