Waited over 2hrs and 15 minutes for food!

Prawn crackers werent right its like they were soggy

Part of my order was missing! Golden Wok did send someone to deliver it straight away with apologies though! The free prawn crackers were soft within two hours! Not normally soggy that quick! Bit disappointed as normally a great service?

Much smaller portions than other takeaways in the area. Chips were brick hard, shards, overcooked. The special fried rice had 4 pieces of meat. We wont be using this one again

My husband had sweet and sour balls and the batter was too chrispy and hard. The fries were not Cooked as usual and tasted terrible. The other two meals were ok.

Waited 2 and half hours for food when I live less than a mile away! Normally I would have went and got food however I have covid so couldnt!

Took 3 hours and 2 irate phone calls from me before order was delivered, estimate was 1 hour 40 mins!

Food was over a hour and a half late I asked for it to have no onions everything had onions and was just hot enough to eat when I called to ask about my food was just told its really busy and i should come collect my food if I want it faster.. I have used this take away a long time but think Im going to start trying others after this..

Very greasy, ended up with extreme stomach pain.

Cold on arrival, no sauce, only 2 ribs and the rest of the carton filled with scraps and onions

Hairs and bugs on food bag. Unacceptable.

The delivey time was really quick and arrived within 30 mins, but the food was not good at all. The chips were overcooked, hard and lookwarm. The fried rice was stone cold and bland, and the chow mein was really greasy and overwhelming with salt and soysauce. Unfortunately i wont be ordering from here again.

Beef very chewy, sui mai was not cooked properly and no taste to the fried rice, shame because been customer for years. The food and service has gone downhill past few months.

The large spring rolls werent as tasty as before, not enough meat in them & the special chow mein didnt have any egg in it & wasnt very tasty

We waited 3 hours for it to be delivered. It was cold and order was incorrect.

2 hrs after delivery I called, order was not even on its way, they advised they were busy..Jesus Christ its a takeaway..recruit staff, cancelled orders, no apology etc. dont order if you are ordering after 6pm, Ill be giving repeat business to deans.

Second time Ive ordered and the prawn crackers were stale again ! The noodles this time where disgusting and no flavour. Dont think I will be back. Boyfriend also got raw chicken balls

Chicken noodle soup was good. Chicken satsy on skewer was so tough could hardly chew it. Crispy won ton was very disappointing no filling.

2 hours wait. Food was poor.

Delivery was about 45 minutes before estimated which youd think would be good but I had just turned the shower on when it arrived. Dim sum combo was disappointing. All the pastry items were over cooked, the wontons were in fact empty, folded pastry, and the prawn toast didnt have any prawns! I actually had to check the menu to make sure it was supposed to be prawn and not just sesame toast - advertised as prawn toast but no prawn. Mains were ok. High delivery compared to similar in the area and the menu prices have gone up. I totally appreciate this as everything is more expensive but not happy with a drop on quality as well as a price rise.

Received a message - 40 minutes after the delivery should have been made - from the golden wok saying they've tried to deliver my order, I've tried numerous times to contact them on the number provided just to be cut off with 'please call later' message. I live in a flat with an intercom and certainly nobody has rung my bell. They've taken my money but failed to deliver or answer their phone and its too late to order now from elsewhere. Appalling service from this vendor, never experienced this before from any other vendor. They've now got my money but zero delivery!

I ordered a meal at half past 6 to be told it would be an hour. Was well over the hour when I received it. Then it turns out it was wrong so phone back get told a new one will be sent out. Nearly 3 hours after I had first placed my order I was still waiting phone back to get nothing but stinking attitude from the girl on the phone which I did not appreciate! Got told the manager would give me a call after at least 3 phone calls to them to which I'm still sat waiting on. Overall terrible experience and will not be ordering from here again.

The battered chicken was ok, tge fried rice good and sweet and sour sauce adequate, but the prawn crackers were stale soft and tasteless, I suspect they were leftover from the day before, I did rate this takeaway and Ive used it a few times, this experience has put me off

Food delivered so late. Had to make something myself and refused order at door when eventually came after midnight

Prawn crackers where really soggy which was a little disappointing. Then received a phone call saying we hadnt paid and they where sending people back round even though my husband paid cash and even left a big tip. Pretty disappointed
