2 hours to deliver an order is poor.

Food was luke warm and the ribs were mostly fat

Placed an order online and seen the delivery time was 1 hour 40 mins (10 min drive away). I called the Chinese directly and asked if this would be correct. She the advised it was busy, apologied, but would have the meal out to me within 45 mins after she confirmed my details.Over an hour goes by so I call the shop again to be told that's not what she said and I was to go into collect this. If I'd have known this was the case I would have cancelled my order and went elsewhere.So I have had to drive through to collect my order after paying for delivery...

Salty, a bit over cooked in places, chicken balls and prawn toast were just over cooked and saturated in fat. First and last time trying here. 80% of the munchie box went in the bin.

Maybe nchy box was far too salty, couldnt eat it.

When i order a king prawn with spring onion and ginger, i expect to see so in my meal. I had 6 prawns, one slice of ginger and actually a chopped up normal onion. INFACT onion mostly dominated the meal therefore the next time i order this meal you should call it Onion Delight.Very poor, in the perfect exanple of saving your business money at the expense of the customers wallet.Surely you can do better as a well established business.The aromatic rib starter meat was tooo dry so it woukd be better much moister.

Waited over 3 hours. They then phoned and said I would get a refund. That didnt happen.

Everything was fine however the quality of the chicken wasn't good

Waited 2 1/2 hours for a delivery then came and it was full of chips maybe 6 bits chicken in while munchie box. Never had a problem before but tonight was absolutely terrible.

I dont understand why it takes 2.5 hrs to deliver a takeaway. Food in general is tasty, but when it arrives cold and soggy and you have to make your own dinner then its pointless £38 later??

2 hour waiting on food

Placed order at 1802 with an estimated delivery time of 1hour 20 mins. Waited until 1945 to call and was told the delivery was just leaving. Called again at 2010 to be told the delivery driver was on his way. Food finally arrived at 2035. The staff were apologetic when I called but the food was cold and the delivery wait times are atrocious. I wont be ordering from this take away again.

Food was good, but edge taken off by having to wait 2 hours for it. (was quoted 1 hour delivery time by Scoffable which was just acceptable). May well use them again, but definitely not for delivery

Said delivery would be 1 and a half hours... Arrived after 2 and a half once I had called to ask where it was. Poor timings, good food.

Order at 6pm with delivery of 1 hour 40 minutes. Came 8pm still nothing, called to check the order and was told it was just leaving with the driver. Called again at 8.40 and was told that the driver had left with the order, but they would call the driver and call me back. No call back but food was finally here at 9pm!! Not good. Food was cold and chips were clearly not fresh.

Ordered at 17.45 timeshowing 60-90 minute wait for delivery once order through wait time then went up to 1hr and 50 minutes which is extreme but accepted it. Got to the 2hr point order still not arrived managed to get through at 2 hrs and 15 minutes to be told sorry they had been busy and order was out shouldnt be much longer queue another 45 minute wait. Total wait 3hrs not acceptable if you cant fulfil orders that have been taken shouldnt be taking more from any channel . And to top it off was given curry sauce instead of the sweet and sour sauce I had chosen with my starter.

Food was as good as usual delivery timescale and no way of contacting was the letdown

To be fair the food is really nice, but when you order at 5pm and have to wait around 2 hours its just not great, if this is a popular takeaway then just employ more drivers to get the food out within 45 mins. There is no need foot excuse the delay on lack of staff.not in this day and age!

Very, very disappointed with our food which was so overcooked. The prawn toasts were so hard and dry that they were inedible. The Lemon Chicken was also very overcooked, not nice. The Beef with onion and ginger was better but far too many onions and thick gloopy sauce.The Singapore noodles were not worth the money, also there was no meat or prawns in it.All in all a very disappointing meal that the chef should pay more attention to while cooking it. Maybe it was a difficult night for them, or not a real Chinese chef who was on.Sad to say that we will not be ordering again from The Golden Wok.

Average! My first time. I was told 1 hour and it was 1 hour. Packaging was excellent. Eg chicken in lemon sauce. The chicken was well wrapped in tin foil to keep it warm, sauce separate. The food was tepid at best, showing how long it may have been waiting for despatch. I suspect they need more delivery drivers for the food to be at its prime.A pity, as the food showed potential.Portions were good and the driver was very pleasant.The ribs were tasty but again cool.Sorry, I wont shop here again.

Late over an hour food poor

Far too long a wait for food. When it came it was good

Waited over 2 hours again for order. Maybe worth stop taking orders of back log to avoid customers waiting so long. When it came it was nice but long wait ruined experience.
