Order placed at 20 to 7. While I fully appreciate places are busy and did get an estimate of 1 and 20 mins for delivery however order not delivered until 10 past 9 food was freezing and my poor husband had already left for work minus his dinner. On calling the shop I was told thats what happens on a Saturday especially when u stay in armadale. Last time a checked blackridge was a 2 minute drive along the road and not a plane journey away. A was tokd when i phoned at 20 past 8 they were just waiting on the driver to come back and that it was only an estimate. Aye but an hour and 20 mins and 2 and a half hours are very different. No apologies no good will gesture just attitude and freezing food. Will not order again Please ppl remember if ur from armadale thats what happens on a Saturday. Thank god I wasnt in Bathgate. :-D.

Order was accepted at 18:56, delivery requested about 20:00, order received at 20:57. When calling to enquire at 20:25 was told my order was being prepared then told my order was on its way. Was also told my order was accepted with an hour and a half delivery time, I was never notified of this.Spice cottage concept of Chicken Maryland appears to be Chicken, chips and side salad. Never again.

I am still waiting on food as the munchie box had sauce all over it I phoned them to explain at 18.40 & they told me they were busy I hav tried phoning for 10mins but it is constantly engaged I hav the original 1 packaged back up waiting on them picking it up while dropping my food off

Sick and tired of waiting over a hour and a half for a delivery and still they insist it's on its way not the first time this has happened. Not be using any time soon

Ordered 5:48pm. Delivery Update 50mins (ETA 6:40pm). Called 6:50pm ... "food just about to leave". Called again 7:20 ... "oops ... forgot your food, will bring personally". Food arrived around 8pm, personally delivered and with extra popadoms and two cans of soft drink free. Some of the food was cold, unfortunately, and the rest was lukewarm. This was a special birthday dinner ruined. Spice Cottage usually get the highest rating from me ... but yesterday, on my birthday, it deserves the worst rating that Scoffable can offer.

Waited near 3 hours on delivery, couldnt get an answer on phone for 20 mins after waiting 2 hours , food arrived cold and un edible

2nd time Ive ordered from here and they have not sent all the items I paid for

Food was good but over 2 hours for delivery on a Sunday night is pretty poor.

I know it was a busy Saturday but waited 2 hours and was told our house was the first stop but it wasnt like it was hot last time I'll b there I'm afraid.

We ordered to be delivered around 5.50 due to going out, food eventually came at 6.45 and this was after me calling the shop over 10 times to try and cancel it but got no answer, food was cold on arrival also

Dreadful service from the spice cottage , Blackridge. Thanks to Scoffable fir the refund , I will never buy anything from the spice cottage again. Thanks scoffable
