I ordered steak diane for delivery - i called the restaurant & asked if i could collect as i had to nip out, was advised steak was on grill at that time so let them know i wouldnt be long, 15 mins later my friend goes in too pick up food - steak still on grill. got home to a strange cut of meat for a fillet and seriously over done steak when it was supposed to be medium rare. a lot of money wasted. i usually enjoy a steak from here even if delivered, will try again in future as i love the sauce just really disappointed with the steak

Second time I've got from here, what a disappointment after the first time! Spent almost 50 quid and the food was really not nice! The chips were soggy, the bolognese had an odd flavour and hardly any mince, the salad did not taste fresh and the funghi bread was cold and greasy! What a complete waste of hard earned cash!

I usually love the food from Amore, but this was the second time the pasta tasted like pure oregano. Not pleasant at all and a waste of money.

Absolutely disgusting food wasnt fresh i got frozen food and a rock of ice in a meat dish Absolutely shocking woke up extremely unwell this morning i will be reporting the restaurant not worth the money

Pizza was rotten

Not at all like the meals Ive enjoyed in the past. Pate was watery, pizza was underdone and falling apart. Not good.

I ordered 2 pate starters and a prawn cocktailstarter and in total (inc delivery) was £23.00.I was shocked at the meagre portion size though even more shocked at the unprofessional reply when I did complain. As you can see the pate was served in a pot that most restaurants and takeaway use for cooking condiments like mayo and tomato sauce.I was then advised this was a starter portion which I was well aware of and then they had the audacity to say if I wanted a larger portion then to order as a main. The prawns were shrimps and again very few of them tho was advised that prawns are extremely expensive. I know the price of prawns and for what they charged you could buy king prawns and a whole packet of them which would still allow an ample profit and more to be made. It was pointed out no one else had ever complained tho perhaps they need to venture further afield as have never been served such a small portion in my life it was actually a joke. They implied I was being greedy saying they would have offered me more toast FOC if I was so hungry tho why as there would be no pate for the toast. I wish I had taken a photo of the portion of prawns too. There is overcharging and there is ripping people off and I would say both apply on this occasion. I thought was I over reacting so I shared this and everyone agreed infact mostly with laughing emojis. This restaurant was always good with adequate portions and quality food tho something has went very wrong somewhere along the line andthats includes how to deal with customers when they are unhappy.

Pasta was really oily not much sauce either tried to call restaurant but no answer disappointed

Too much cheese on the pizzas made them greasy. Not much taste unfortunately which is a shame as Ive had food previously and it was good. Disappointed.

The carbonara was tasteless, the focaccia bread lacked garlic and the chips were reheated. I have eaten from Amore many times but, this time was awful.

Always had a lovely takeaway from here however today after placing the order the delivery time was confirmed as 1 hour 40 minutes, it did arrive right at the 1 hour 40 mins. The onion rings were soggy and had a strange smell. My calzone was completely cold in the middle when I cut in to it and there was a lot of excess water/grease, as soon as I cut in it poured out. I did reheat it myself but the dough went soggy because of how runny the sauce was.

Absolutely horrid. I got carbonara and my friend got steak. Carbonara was bland. No taste what so ever. Steak was incredibly over cooked (was supposed to be medium) it was tough and chewy like boot leather. Both dishes were so disgusting we lobbed them in the bin after just a couple of bites. Charged nearly £30 for the privilege! Will never order from here again. Avoid!

Penne con pollo was dreadful, chicken was burnt and inedible, the cat enjoyed it. Wife's lasagne was good but very salty.Very disappointed, as food usually very good from Amore.

I always order from here and I ordered the risotto last night and was extremely disappointed when I received my order. The risotto portion was half of what it usually is but it isnt a cheaper price. Why is this? Im actually considering changing to another Italian because of this as its the second time it has happened (I usually order from them all the time!) Please change this back to a full tub of risotto or change the price of the item to reflect the quantity.

The pasta carbonara is absolutely disgusting very very bland no flavour what's so ever no taste like white water and the chips and onion rings burnt and the breaded mushrooms with garlic bland wont be coming back

Hv ordered carbonara few times from here, but unfortunately won't be ordering it again, Again very bland not much taste from it.. Also ordered prawn cocktail not many prawns or sauce was very disappointed

Soggy chips, no flavor to pasta. Was like white water. Chicken was bone dry. I question how old it was. Never again especially after paying £30+
