Vegetable pakora rotten, chicken should've come with a sauce not seperate ,garlic nan bread dry expected it to be soaking with garlic

This is really unusual for the Everest, we have never had a bad dinner until now. We have a takeaway every Friday, I have a chicken tikka biryani and my husband has a chicken tikka Pathia, the sauce for the biryani had no vegetables in it and the chicken didnt have that tikka taste, the pathia hardly had any chicken or sauce, the Nan bread was small.

They missed the naan bread and the rice was coco they delivered. I ordered mushroom rice. Second time issue with the order

Starter was cold. Ordered chickpea rice got boiled rice. Chicken tikka was hard. First takeaway in 3 months was really looking forward to it

Food arrived cold again and needed reheated. The Special Biriyani had no prawns at all. Lamb was fatty.

Very good afternoon, I am so sorry to hear that. I can ensure you that during cooking and processing our takeaway service we always keep our standard. We also use one of the top supplier for our lamb. If there is no prawns in your order I think it is a mistake from the chef. Ordered extra sauce which we paid for. Not delivered. This is not the first time that this has happened. Food was delicious and very very tasty they need to pay attention to the extras.

The food is always good. Not for the first time though, tonight we only got part of the order. When I phoned I was told they were sorry, and presented with the options to wait for the missing meal, cancel that part of the order, and get a refund, or discount off the next meal. I asked how long it would take to get the missing course, as we were sitting at the table, and I was told she didn't know and they were very busy. I had ordered the meal 2 hours before, and we get the same most Saturdays. Them being busy is not my problem. I had to push to find out how long the rest of the order would be. Again I was offered the option of cancelling. Not an option as we were sitting at the table and I was not going to cook tonight. When I pushed again, she phoned the delivery driver, and then I was told it would about 10 minutes. It was actually 15. Each time this has happened I have been offered a discount on the next delivery. It has never happened.

We ordered our meal online and received confirmation that it would be delivered in an hour. An hour and ten minutes later we phoned to be told that our order had been overlooked. Approximately an hour and fifty minutes later the meal arrived. Whilst we have absolutely no criticism of the quality of the food the delay in delivery was very disappointing.

Order was 50 minutes later than told being delivered. 2hrs from time of order and when it arrived, all means paper from the Korma was cold.Called the restaurant to be told its far away and maybe cold cause of the tubs some of the items were in. Was offered fresh pakora and chips. If they can deliver hot this time, why not do it right the first time.This is the second time we have had long delays and cold food.Its a shame as the food has been excellent in the past and highly spoken of. Maybe we have just been unlucky twice in a short period of time.

We get a curry from here most Saturday nights, but tonights experience will make me think again. I ordered it for 7.30, but the confirmation showed 6.50. I didn't arrive until nearly 8 o'clock after I had phoned 4 times (yes 4). The person who answered said they were busy, and he couldn't hear me. At 10 to 8 (when he eventually heard me ,) he said it was on it's way. The naan bread was stone cold, the poppadums (ok, that's free) were stale. The curry and rice were acceptable, which is why they only got a bad, instead of a terrible. I told the restaurant I'd be giving them a bad review tonight.

Great food as always but the advertised - 'Special OffersFree Poppadom & ChutneyFree poppadom & chutney with every collection or delivery order.'Did not appear and in addition the delivery charge was £2.50 and not the £2.00 as advertised.

I have used Everest on many occasions and the food has never given cause to fault, it's always excellent and has to be in the top 3 in Dunfermline.I have rated this order as bad as I had to phone when my order was over an hour late. It eventually came 1hr 20mims late, piping hot and with an apology.Will still go back, great food

Unfortunately no option to give a neutral score. Delivery time requested for 7.30 and actually received at 8,05. Food good as usual, and naan was actually warm for once. Shame i had to scoop my bhuna from the bottom of the bag, as the container hadn't been closed properly. I order at least 2 hours in advance for 7.30. It's never on time. Why do I keep ordering from here? The food is good.

order arrived 40 mins late. only had 1 sauce between 3 pakoras. food was barely hot by the time it arrived the person on phone had been telling us for half an hour the order was out for delivery

Ordered my usual, which has a bit of heat normally but enjoyable. This time though, so hot to the point of being inedible. Not even a nice taste, just an overpowering wave of intense heat and bitterness. Shame, as normally ok with an acceptable minor variance on heat/flavour. Sad as this is normally my go to restaurant for Indian food.

This is the second time we have ordered takeaway from Everest having previously enjoyed their sit in service. The first time the food was perfectly cooked and very enjoyable. This time they lost our online order. We had to wait 20 minutes for the order to be prepared. This time the food was not up to the standard we expected. It was obviously rushed. I had ordered lamb piro khasi ko masu both times and the difference the second time was very marked. The fresh herbs were missing from the dish and it was bland. Very disappointing. The other dishes were just ok
